Job Title: Project Worker (Part time)
Salary: £10 per hour
Duration: 15 hours per week, fixed term funded until March 2017
Base: YCSA, 48 Darnley Street
Reports to: YCSA Ctrl Alt Delete Programme Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to join the YCSA team, a leading BME charity with over 20 years of experience supporting and empowering young people, aged 10 to 25, in a social, educational and developmental process, enabling them to reach their potential and become active valued members of a diverse community.

Our programme, ‘Ctrl Alt Delete’ is a personal development reboot programme to reduce social exclusion and poverty. It supports young people from BME communities to take control of their lives, identify barriers affecting self or community and, in finding alternatives, overcome and delete them. Support is based around the three main areas of education, employment and social inclusion.

We are looking for creative, enthusiastic, self-starting individuals to support the development and delivery of Ctrl Alt Delete programmes and workshops. Support is based around creative engagement utilising techniques such as music, art, design, entrepreneurship to support personal development.

The post-holders will be required to work predominately within the hours of Monday to Thursday 9-5 and Friday 9-4 however may be required to work flexibly out with these times in order to cover events etc.
