The Edinburgh Quartet Trust is seeking to appoint a Development Officer to manage and develop the Friends of the Edinburgh Quartet and to secure targeted income from a range of sources.

Contract: Freelance, 1 year fixed term
Hours: Average of 10 hours per week
Fee: £7,500 per year

The Edinburgh Quartet Trust is seeking to appoint a Development Officer to manage and develop the Friends of the Edinburgh Quartet and to secure targeted income from a range of sources including trusts and foundations and the Quartet’s applications to bodies such as Creative Scotland.

Key responsibilities will include the development of a five-year funding plan to diversify income; secure targeted income from trusts and foundations and the management, development and expansion of the Friends of the Edinburgh Quartet

You must have: experience in securing funding for an arts organisation from a range of sources; the oversight and management of a membership or Friends scheme; strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage your own workload and prioritise as necessary.

Experience of working within arts administration context is essential.
