Christina Mairi Lawrie has been invited to make her Wigmore Hall debut in July 2005, as a Park Lane Group Young Artist. Her South Bank debut at the Purcell Room in 2004 was critically acclaimed, and the Observer praised her "formidable intellect and boundless technique... Fantastic playing". Christina made her BBC Radio 3 debut in January 05, and returns to the Purcell Room in October 05, to play in the South Bank's "Fresh Young Musicians' Platform" series. She also has a busy diary of engagements around the Scottish music clubs.
