Gemma McGregor’s Love Was His Meaning for SSA Chorus and harp will be performed by the National Youth Choir of Scotland

at Central Hall, 2 West Tollcross, Edinburgh EH3 9BP on 18th April 2020 from 15 – 16:30pm.

Love Was His Meaning, for SSA Chorus and harp, was commissioned by the Multitude of Voyces as one of a set of four choral pieces by women composers that set verses from the Revelations of Divine Love by 14th century mystic, Dame Julian of Norwich. The other three composers are Hilary Campbell, Carol J. Jones and Judith Weir. This set of pieces are due for publication by Multitude of Voyces in an anthology of sacred music by women in November 2020.
