Salary: £28,356 – £34,800 Depending on Experience
This is an exciting opportunity to join Scottish Opera’s Outreach & Education team, who have a national and international reputation for creativity and innovation in the field of music-led, multi-artform projects.
Reporting to the Director of Outreach & Education, this role has a broad remit, and includes operating as Office Manager for the team. You will have responsibility for the department’s administration requirements, and will work with Senior Producers to ensure that contractual arrangements and project requirements are delivered on time and to the highest standard. You will be responsible for effective management, control and reporting of departmental budgets, and assist with evaluations of projects and initiatives providing statistical analysis and reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
The person we are looking for is energetic, enthusiastic and confident, with excellent management, organisational and communication skills. Co-ordinating this distinctive and constantly evolving programme will require the ability to think creatively and respond positively the challenges of a fast-moving & diverse environment.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience of project or administration management is essential, including the setting and monitoring of budgets, as is proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
The position is based in Scottish Opera’s Production Studios in central Glasgow; however, we perform all around Scotland and further afield, so evening work and travel is required.
