This pioneering programme drew its initial inspiration from El Sistema in Venezuela and our vision is to transform lives with music. We deliver on our vision through the creation of Big Noise programmes within communities. Since its inception in 2007, the programme has grown and developed into a multi – faceted and immersive music education and social development programme which uses the orchestra as a learning community. We currently run programmes in Raploch (Stirling), Govanhill (Glasgow) and Torry (Aberdeen). We plan to open a fourth centre in Douglas (Dundee) during 2017.
You will support the Finance Manager at Sistema Scotland, providing financial administrative support, procedures and processes in addition to analytical support and analysis to ensure the continued success and growth of each of the Big Noise programmes. You will be Part Qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience, with experience of working at a Finance Officer level. You will have experience of working with accounting software and implementing/adhering to financial controls and procedures.
