Scottish Ensemble is looking for a full-time Marketing and Communications Manager to join the team.
SE’s work regularly looks and feels distinct from the perceived norms of classical music, and our Marketing & Communications Manager plays a significant role in conveying this bold, fresh approach to a broad audience, and in generating a contemporary, accessible style of communication. We are currently seeking someone to take on this role and continue to increase the potential of our model to connect with and inspire new, larger and ever more diverse audiences to engage with our work.
Based at SE’s busy office in Glasgow, this role is central to the ongoing development of Scottish Ensemble’s identity. With holistic responsibilities for all areas of marketing and communications, it requires an organised, focused individual who is used to balancing a busy workload involving multiple complex timelines and rigorous attention to detail with creative skills and flair.
The Marketing & Communications Manager leads on SE’s marketing, digital and audience development strategy, as well as running the day-to-day marketing functions for our year-round performance and Creative Learning programme (including print materials, distribution plans, press and PR plans, digital content, social media activity, box office and FOH, and marketing partnerships). Our Administrator & Marketing Assistant provides support for many regular tasks and research. As part of SE’s small team, the Marketing & Communications Manager will also share touring responsibilities with the rest of the SE team, and in particular will be responsible for FOH and box office duties when on the road.
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 dependent on experience
Start date: As soon as possible, dependent on any current notice period
