RCS are looking to appoint a specialist to teach on and oversee the MMus Piano for Dance programme.
MMus Piano for Dance Coordinator
Permanent, Part Time (0.2 FTE)
Salary Scale: £38,229 – £45,642 per annum pro rata
The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is a national and international centre of excellence for performing arts education. As one of the world’s most multi-disciplinary conservatoires, we offer specialised and intensive teaching in music, drama, dance, film and production, as well as encouraging trans-disciplinary learning across our uniquely innovative curriculum.
We are: looking to appoint a specialist to teach on and oversee the MMus Piano for Dance programme.
You will: prepare modules, deliver teaching and conduct tutorials/assessments for students within the MMus Piano for Dance programme. You will be responsible for creating and implementing effective learning support materials. In addition, you will undertake the necessary administrative duties including module co-ordination and liaison with our key partner, Scottish Ballet.
You will have: a degree qualification in relevant subject/equivalent qualification or significant, broad and relevant experience with, preferably, a teaching qualification. You will also be able to show experience and demonstrated success in developing innovative teaching methods, and high level professional experience in Piano for Dance.
