Kilbarchan Singers

The Kilbarchan Singers is an enthusiastic group of around 20 singers based in Renfrewshire. Formed in 1982 as a madrigal group, the choir has now grown in size and repertoire. The choir rehearse and perform locally and on occasions throughout Scotland, singing a range of music spanning six centuries.  In the past the choir has also sung in Freiburg Munster, Notre Dame Cathedral and Brussels Cathedral.

All rehearsals are taken by the Musical Director together with the choir’s accompanist.  The MD is paid an Honorarium plus a set payment for travel expenses.  Typically the choir performs two or three concerts each year.
