Edited by Elaine Moohan and Kenneth Elliott.
O eternal God (for four voices, MScTB) appeared in Day’s Certaine Notes (1560). It is written in the four-part chordal style that was to become standard for Psalm and Canticle settings and almost certainly dates from the late 1540s.
