Dream Machine Productions

Dream Machine Productions is a volunteer led organisation based at On the Corner in the East End of Glasgow. On the Corner is home to a relaxation project, a food donations project, a swap shop, event room, gallery, and workshop space for musicians, artists and third sector organisations.

Over the last two years Dream Machine Productions have been renovating On the Corner and are now ready to open the building to the public. Timeline will be the first of a series of projects that will run at On The Corner.

Timeline is an intergenerational project aimed at young people and those who are over 60 who live in Calton, Glasgow. The project will offer a variety of arts workshops over the course of 5 months.

There will be three stages to the project:

The first stage will focus on working with those over 60.
The second stage will focus on working with young people.
The third stage will focus on working with both groups.

Each stage will last four weeks and workshops will be held twice a week.

We are looking for a project co-ordinator to join the team for the running of the Timeline project. The role of the project co-ordinator will be to ensure specific aspects of the project run smoothly, and that the participants have the best time possible.

Project Co-ordinator Requirements:
• A Disclosure or PVG.
• Experience in running an arts project.
• Experience in working with young people and those over 60.
• Good community engagement skills.
• Knowledge of the arts sector.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent PR skills.

The role will be contracted for 10 hours a week over 5 months at £10 per/hr.
