Technical Hire Coordinator (PT 21 hours)

6 month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: Admin Grade 3: £19,333- £23,199 (FTE) depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Part Time Administrator for our Technical Department to coordinate and administer the technical processes involved in Scottish Opera hires and co-productions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably within a technical and / or stage management environment.

You should have excellent organisational and time management skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills and be an intermediate user of the Microsoft Office package. You should have a positive and pro-active approach, display attention to detail and remain flexible to anticipate and respond to changing circumstances and expectations within a fast paced environment. Candidates with an awareness of EU regulatory concerns in regards to the movement of goods would be an advantage but not a requirement.
