Eufragio Manuele
Eufragio is a Scotland-based rapper born in Mozambique, a beautiful country on the southern east coast of Africa. He works as a Bed and Breakfast Manager In Morvern Peninsula, on the Highlands.
Before living in Scotland, he relocated to Portugal when he was seventeen, where he pursued a bachelor's degree in hotel management. Eufragio has always been fascinated by the ups and downs of society, which inspired him to pursue sociology and philosophy under his father's influence. These two topics, which are at the core of his music, have greatly influenced how he views the world.
His music is centred on uplifting society's morality, battling depression, and assisting people in discovering their life's purpose because he feels that philosophy and music significantly influence society's behaviour. He received media attention for his song "Rule the World" from VOA Africa, BBC Gaelic, and The National, Scotland's largest newspaper.
His debut EP, "Morning Glory," will be released on the 3rd of December 2024. The EP features production from Twefi Muthuki, Gervasio Macaneta, and DJ Crazy, and features guest appearances by Scottish musician and broadcaster Mary Ann Kennedy, Mozambican Rock Star Rui Michel, and pop sensation Diva Mass. Morning Glory will be supported by two videos for the songs "Thana Npfula" and "No Enemies," both recorded in Mozambique and Scotland. One of the songs from the EP was made to help Mozambique's flood victims. The song is titled Thana Npfula, which means "Come rain" in Tsonga (A language spoken in the South of Mozambique). It is a song that promotes the value of rain to those people, while also raising awareness of the dangers that rain may create when it falls excessively on unprotected territory. The powerful sound highlights the Mozambican people's ability to overcome adversity, while the lyrics describe their pain and despair, which are frequently disregarded and forgotten by the rest of the world.
Besides his work in hospitality and music, Eufragio is an amateur athlete who runs Marathons to help those in need. In May 2024, he ran the Edinburgh Marathon on behalf of Marie Curie, raising £840. In March 2025 he will run the Inverness Half Marathon on behalf of the SAHM (Scottish Action for Mental Health)
