Seeking a part-time Marketing & Communications professional with a passion for supporting community and youth arts, to join our small but growing team
Oi Musica creates exciting outdoor performances, award-winning community programmes and street band music for all occasions. Our projects enliven public space, welcome musicians of all levels of experience and find common ground between players from different backgrounds.
We are seeking an exceptional arts professional with demonstrable experience across marketing and communications to join our small and dedicated team.
Having recently secured 2-year core funding from Creative Scotland's Extended Programme Fund, this is an exciting time to join the organisation, as we implement our funded programmes and create a long term strategy for Oi Musica. The Marketing & Communications Manager will play a key part in this.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing all external communications. Key tasks and responsibilities will include designing and delivering marketing campaigns to drive ticket sales; creating promotional materials including print and video content; managing social media channels, website updates and ticketing platform (Humanitix); creating a digital archive; working closely with Oi Musica’s Programme Manager and Exec Director to raise the organisation’s profile and reach new audiences.
The successful applicant will have at least 5 years’ experience of working in a similar role, with experience of delivering marketing campaigns for an arts organisation. Excellent design and copywriting skills are essential, and proficient video editing and content creation skills are also required. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, with a flexible and adaptable approach and experienced in managing your own workload.
What we can offer:
2 days a week (15 hours)
£32k pro rata (ie. £12,800)
Statutory paid leave of 28 days pro rata (ie. 11.5 days)
3% employer pension contribution
12 month fixed term contract

Location: Hours to be split between remote working and Oi Musica’s office in Portobello, Edinburgh.
