What you need to know
Our vacancy is for a Music & Orchestral Services Manager to work as part of the Artistic Team.
In a nutshell, this role is best suited to someone who has:
Professional experience in music or as a musician
A natural ability and drive that garners respect and trust, in order to ensure the highest level of creative outputs are met
First class communication and teamwork skills
Excellent organisational skills, including logistical planning
An affinity with Scottish Ballet’s culture and values
The ability to bring music to life at Scottish Ballet
Experience of managing logistical and functional operations of a busy music department and/or orchestra would be an advantage.
It’s a full-time, permanent role:
Salary is £42,000 to £47,000 per annum (negotiated according to experience)
The role is full-time, 35 hours per week
Working hours will be flexible, with evening and weekend work applicable to touring schedules
The role is primarily based in our Glasgow HQ with requirement to tour both around the UK and also internationally
