The Musica Scotica Trust promotes Scottish music through the publication of editions of musical scores and volumes of studies on aspects of Scottish music, under the general editorship of Dr Kenneth Elliott. Since 2005, the Trust has held an annual one-day conference, at which papers on traditional, historic and contemporary Scottish music are given by scholars from Scotland and elsewhere.
